My last question is will window 10 home key i have in this system be validated if i go for a new window 10 install on this laptop. if you are looking for using WIFI on osx the only working card is dell Wireless 1702 card, Replace your one with working one if you dont have.
I would love to fix laptop and not have to do a new window 10 install with more window 10 update chaos to deal with but at this point i fear that could be the only solution to fix laptop. Wish governments would make them pay for the chaos these update causes. the laptop was an extra my mom had at her business and my super old laptop had finally died. Must be the only company that takes no responsibility for tanking people personal computers. So this is a build of my school laptop, a dell inspiron 15r n5110.
I would very much appreciate any help as we get nothing from MS but dodgy updates. I have reset power issues in safe mode but nothing change. In the 30 sec window i Did try to uninstall the update but as system just keep shutting down it does not have the time to complete as it closes down. I can boot into safe mode and that does not close down on me but MS made sure they closed down all the updates so can't uninstall in safe mode. This laptop may be old but before the update it was working fine no problem what so ever. The latest BIOS version for your system is A11 and can be downloaded from the DELL Website. There are many users facing similar issues. after checking my BIOS details I realized that I was using the old A09 update. But after clicking the Windows 10 icon and checking my PC compatibility I was informed that my BIOS was not supported. There the only ones in the past few years that have tank both my pc. N5110 does not support Windows 10 officially. Last week i tried to reserve my copy of the Windows 10. I have reset window 10 but did not solve anything thx to window updates. I have look into a restore but can't get that to work. So i restarted the laptop then the next thing the laptop just kept shutting down not restarting complete shut down so i had to keep starting the laptop back up finally it completed update but now i get less than 30 secs then window 10 just shut down. The issue all started yesterday 26/8/18 from a update 30 min warning.
